The Dragon and the Unicorn

At least I think it was. I never finished it. There is definitely something to be said for books that have exciting beginnings.
I think I got about four chapters into the book before I realized that I didn’t want to waste any further time on it. From what I understand, it was about some giant god, the dragon, who was in fact the earth, and some other mystical gods who lived in a giant tree and had nothing to do with the ‘real world’ where a mysterious Celtic princess ran away from her bodyguard and climbed up into the ‘unreality’ where the tree was, in order to speak to one of the excommunicated gods.
‘Twas all rather vague, spiritual, and technical in a weird sort of way.
I may decide to read it again, just because I like to finish things, but until then, I am content to leave both The Dragon and the Unicorn in Peace.

The author definitely knew what he was talking about, but I sure as hell did not. Please, appeal to the reader! I probably will read it again, but unless my opinion changes drastically, my review shall remain the same.

If you can read, and want something to challenge your mind… have a go at it! I did not notice any ‘mature’ themes, sexuality, or language. Just … really weird… writing.
